A Miracle

A miracle was bestowed upon me
My witness, my likeness for the world to see
A seed of love was planted that special day
My gift, my treasure to watch grow, laugh and play

An angelic smile was engraved within my soul
My happiness, my tenderness makes me feel whole
A precious being brought into life within my care
My heart, my light to which nothing can compare

Leaving all that I've known
Without choice to this decision
