Far Beyond

Eyes cannot deceive nor lie,
When looked upon with a sigh
Smiles that try to hide,
All truths that subside
Hearts beating as one tonight,
Knowing this is truly right
Souls untouched and unseen,
Are far beyond knowing what they mean

Seeing Me

I look in a mirror
And I see
This Ugly person
In Front of me

I’m always depressed
Because I need a rest

I wish I could just be me

How I feel about him

He drives me crazy

Sometimes I can’t talk

I hope he likes me

Cause I like him

I doubt it

But I might get lucky

The Sunset

I saw, the sea

The waves, crashing down

Horses, galloping freely

On the burning sand

A guy and a girl, sitting

Watching the sun, go down

I Saw the Light
But now it’s gone
Noone sees me
In the Dark
I’m alone

I can’t hide
what I feel

I can’t say
what I want

I have to be
someone I’m not

Reason for this blog...

The main reason for this blog is that I have been wanting to find a space to type out my poetry throughout my life that I have written and those that have meaning to me. Mostly the ones I've written.

I've been writing and jotting things down since I was a little girl, so well over 20 years now. My goal is to capture all of my poetry and insights throughout my years, type them out in chronological order and hopefully inspire others to do the same.

This is an outlet for me to be able to share with a wider audience. I also want to be able to post certain poems or quotes that are inspirational to me.

This may take some time as I need to sort through a huge box and post them accordingly. I am determined to reach out and hopefully spark inspiration for others to have an outlet for their creativity as well. :)
